Stay somewhere extraordinary.
Help out while you’re there.
FarFrom matches travellers with hosts that need a hand. You get a private room and a unique experience; they get help from someone who genuinely wants to be there.
Search by place, property type or the kind of help you’d enjoy giving. Every listing shows the room, the help needed and what’s included.
02
Request to book.
Tell the host a little about yourself. If it’s a good match, they’ll accept, and you pay a small booking fee to confirm. Nothing is charged unless the host says yes.
03
Settle in and help out.
Join in with life at the property: bring in the harvest, care for the animals, or repaint a 16th-century castle. Then the place is yours to enjoy.
Every stay has private accommodation. No shared dorms, no sleeping on a sofa.
Places worth the trip.
Vineyards, family farms, historic houses and glamping sites, each reviewed by our team before it goes live.
Time to make it a trip.
Help out for part of the day, then explore, rest or join in with life at the property.
People who want to be there.
Our community travels to belong, not just to visit. People who want to learn how a place really runs, and bring their own experience to share.
Award-winning, and backed by organisations who know the
land.

Real reviews,
from real exchanges

We needed a dog-sitter for a last minute 5 day trip away, and we saw this volunteer had looked after animals before - She was so good with Ruben, and sent us whatsapp pics all the time and took him on some incredible walks, making sure he was kept out of the heat of the day. And the house was immaculate on our return! Would love to have her back.

Silke was a fantastic volunteer and a real pleasure to have with us. She got stuck into every task with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, which made life so much easier. Thanks to her hard work, I was finally able to get on top of many of the jobs that had been on my to-do list for far too long, and I now feel much more on track.
Silke was reliable, hardworking, and always willing to help wherever needed. She fitted in brilliantly and approached every task with care and a smile. We really enjoyed having her here and would happily recommend her to any future host and would definetly host another volunteer

Tim and Bev are friendly, and welcoming. The tasks are explained clearly and manageable. It was a great experience living in a vineyard with those baby grapes.
